Activities
walking
In the Lecrín Valley, La Alpujarra and in the Sierra Nevada, you can
make wonderful walks through unspoilt nature. Walks are available in various
difficulty levels, from a few hours to whole days. Please see our Walking
Package for the possibilities.
Also the GR-7
long distance route passes through the valley. When
you don't have a suitable guidebook, we can give you suggestions for some beautiful
walks. We have several short walks around Nigüelas. We also sell walking routes
which have been checked/set out by us. We also sell a walking map of the area. For suggestions about
travel and walking books, as well as maps, also see travel
info.
Granada
As
mentioned before in area, the city Granada is
definitely worth visiting for one or more days. What you certainly must not miss
is the Alhambra and the gardens of Generalife. During your stay we will gladly
give you more information about the nicest bars and restaurants in Granada.
An entry ticket for the Alhambra can best be purchased well in advance (minimum
4 to 6 weeks earlier), this can be done via www.alhambra-tickets.es.
If you don't feel like (or can't) walk too much, you can buy a ticket for the
City sightseeing tour Granda, which is hop-on-hop-off bus that drives around
Granda (ticket valid for 48 hours).
Very relaxing is a visit to the Hammam (Arabic baths). We highly recommend Aljibe
de San Miguel.
